I went to Stratford Upon Avon for a Christmassy girls weekend away and I wanted to write about 5 places to eat at in Stratford Upon Avon. This could be for a coffee or for a sit down meal. They were definitely my favourite places to re-visit if I ever go back there again.

BARDIAS
We stopped in here to grab a hot drink as it was so cold. The decor and customer service was so good. The hot chocolates were amazing covered in whipped cream and mini marshmallows. It’s quite a small coffee shop down a little side street but it’s always buzzing whenever we went there so it’s definitely popular and highly recommended. It’s a family run florist and coffee shop!
It is located in Bell Court at the end of Debenhams.
LOXLEYS
We had our final meal here after we had booked our table as it gets really busy here due to theatre goers eating out before their showing. It’s such a lovely restaurant decorated with deep green walls and flamingo figures with the original dark wood beams. I had a Vodka, Soda and Lime to drink with my Beetroot & Walnut Burger with Fries. I’m disappointed to say it wasn’t the best veggie burger I’ve had but it was alright. I highly recommend booking whichever restaurant you go to down Sheep Street, as it’s very close to the theatre they do get busy and full very quickly.
It is located on Sheep Street.
THE OPPOSITION
This was our first meal in Stratford and it was so delicious. I had the most yummy Veggie Curry which was cauliflower, sweet potato and spinach in a crispy pastry type shell. For dessert I had their Homemade Banoffee Pie which is an absolute favourite of mine. For my drink I had their Raspberry Lemonade.
It is located on Sheep Street.
BOSTON TEA PARTY
I had never heard of Boston Tea Party places before until Helen showed us one in Stratford. They do lots of choices for vegetarian breakfasts which is amazing for me. They are all so yummy and there is so much to choose from. For my first breakfast there, I had Apple Juice and their Eggs Florentine which is the veggie version of Eggs Benedict by replacing the bacon or ham with spinach.
It had two pieces of sourdough toast and with a sprinkle of cress on top and I had two hash browns on the side. For my second breakfast I wanted something bigger to fill me up more as I was suffering from a cold, I chose their Veggie Boss Breakfast which was their biggest full english for veggies. It came with four pieces of toast, beans, poached egg and spinach, sweetcorn fritter, mushrooms (which I gave to someone else), hash browns and cooked tomatoes. So delicious I could have eaten that all over again.
It is located on Henley Street.
IF YOU FANCY A NICE HOT CHOCOLATE…
Why not check out Coffee#1 or Hobson’s Patisseries for a hot drink and a bite to eat. Hobson’s Patisseries is a lovely old fashioned building with lots of floors and cozy places to sit and enjoy a massive baguette or a cream tea!
