• 6 Places To Eat & Drink At In Vietnam

Now you may have already read my 5 Places To Eat & Drink At In Siem Reap, Cambodia post,  and now I’m wanting to write one all about my favourite places to eat at in Vietnam across Vietnam from Hoi An to Da Nang.

6 PLACES TO EAT AT IN VIETNAM // I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE PLACES

    GRANDMA’S RESTAURANT, HANOI

One of our two most posh and most expensive dishes out there. But we fancied to treat ourselves and had dinner in Grandma’s Restaurant. Which is set out like a typical Vietnamese posh restaurant with pretty decor and delicious food. I ordered their Vegetable glass noodles.

    WHERE TO FIND IT:

HOI AN ROASTERY 3, HOI AN

We went past this place on the off chance as we was walking past and fancied a nice cold drink. So we stopped there for a cool down as it was so hot. They do really nice drinks and cakes as well as their famous Vietnamese egg coffee. You should try if you get the chance. I had their Raspberry Italian Soda, which was really nice and super refreshing.

THE DECKHOUSE AT AN BANG BEACH, HOI AN

I had a serious craving for a good veggie burger one night and was disappointed with the lack of places that had any. When we took our last full day in Hoi An to explore a nearby beach called An Bang. We found a really nice beach bar and restaurant and had lunch there. Of course I had to order their veggie burger which was really nice and satisfied my craving.

    FAMILY INDIAN RESTAURANT, DA NANG

In Da Nang we felt very stuck for places to eat as they seemed very few and far between for nice decent places to eat but we came across this really nice Indian restaurant if you fancy having a nice Indian curry one night. We ordered our food which it was huge portions so you definitely get a lot for your money and we ended up trying different bits of each others dishes to help each other out and get a try of everything (of course I didn’t eat any of the meat) I ordered their Vegetable Korma and Pilau Rice which was yummy.

    NGON VILLA, HANOI

Our second expensive meal and just as posh as the first. This time I ordered fried tofu and vegetable rice as well as sharing vegetable spring rolls with my parents as a starter.

    ANY LOCAL VIETNAMESE CAFE

The one I visited was in Hanoi not far from the embassies and also Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and it’s got a perfect view of the road if you sit upstairs so you can watch the traffic go by and it’s the perfect place to try the traditional Vietnamese Banh Mi and also Pho which comes in various different flavours from veggie to meat. I tried their egg and vegetable Banh Mi sandwich which had sweet chili sauce inside which gave it that little bit of a spicy kick which was amazing. I could have eaten more.

Where do you fancy eating if you visit Vietnam?
