Why You Should Switch To WordPress & Buy Your Own Domain
I have had my own blog domain for well over 2 years now and I’m so glad I made the purchase. For 3 years I pay £15 with GoDaddy which I think is pretty good and it auto renews next year for another 3 years unless I change my mind. It has it’s benefits which I will highlight down below and also being hosted on WordPress also has it’s benefits.

– More customisable
– Lots of great plugins and features
– Recognised by Google
– Buy pre-made templates
– A lot more secure with the right plugins
WHY SHOULD I BUY MY OWN DOMAIN?
– Looks good
– Easier for others to find you
– Can gain what people see when they search for you
– Recognised as a legit website
– Google knows where to place you in their search listings (being more on the first few pages and not miles back) For example: if you search for my blog via ‘shanylou’ I am literally the first listing which is awesome!
