We booked into the Rathlin Cottage in Cambridge, Cotswolds for my birthday weekend a few years ago and spent the lovely sunny weather exploring a new part of the Cotswolds. It was nice to have the family together with my brothers girlfriend as well.
RATHLIN COTTAGE IN CAMBRIDGE REVIEW
Our lovely cottage was owned by a lovely lady, who’s daughter took over the cottage when she sadly passed away. The garden was her pride and joy, she cared so much for her rose plants that covered the garden in lots of different colours. Max loved exploring the garden and laying on the grass. There were farm plots and lots of cows and horses nearby that Max was intrigued by. It was a lovely spacious cottage with a large driveway, cosy living room and snug area.

AMENITIES
The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen and utility room that are fully functional for any of your requirements and a large garage with any additional items you might need including a snow shovel for the winter months. The large kitchen is the first room you walk into when you go through the main door, with a small toilet right by the front door. The kitchen was filled with everything you’d need to cook from the cottage as well as laundry in the utility room.
The door off of the kitchen takes you straight into the dinning room with sliding doors onto the garden patio and another door which takes you to the main staircase and living room. The dinning room was quite small for a large group of people but we made it work. The dinning room had sliding doors onto the garden patio that was a nice size and caught most of the days sun that you could admire the roses in the garden in.
