I haven’t done a Tarte haul in quite some time so I thought I would make a new haul purchase. I recently picked up some new products to try out. Including the brand new Aspyn Ovard and Tarte Cosmetics eye and cheek palette. This looks absolutely gorgeous and I just had to pick it up and try it out.
Aspyn Ovard and Tarte Cosmetics join forces
The first item I had to pick up and put into my basket was the brand new Aspyn Ovard Eye and Cheek Palette as this looks so gorgeous and the shades I would use the most. I have been a fan of Aspyn’s channel for quite a while now. And now she has her blog and I’m obsessed. The packaging for this palette is perfect and the names of shades are perfectly related to Aspyn. They also have a few relating to her relationship with her husband Parker.
This palette is the most gorgeous rose gold mirrored effect. Decorated with pretty pink flowers all over the lid with her name in white font. There is a lovely big mirror on the inside of the lid. With her name and Tarte written on the bottom of the mirror in pink font. This palette contains 9 eyeshadow shades, 1 blush and 1 highlighter. 5 eyeshadow shades are matte and 4 of them are shimmery.

I have been meaning to pick up a new cruelty free foundation. I’ve always wanted to try the Shape Tape Matte Foundation. So I decided to pick it up although I think the shade I picked up is a bit too light for me so I’m having to sell the foundation shade I’ve got and pick up a new one which is annoying as I thought I’d picked up the right shade. I also had to get the matching concealer so I picked the Shape Tape Concealer to match as I’ve heard such good things about it, which unfortunately I’ve also picked this up in a far too light shade.
I wanted to try out some of the Tarte skincare range so I picked up the Pamper & Prep Makeup Ready Set which contains 3 mini skincare products including the Maracuja Oil, Maracuja C Brightener Eye Treatment Cream and the Drink Of H20 Hydrating Boost Moisturiser. I’ve been really loving the moisturiser at the moment. It really hydrates my skin and helps my foundation go on smoothly.
I really wanted to try out some new mascaras so I decided to pick up the Mascaras Most Wanted Mini Set which contains 6 mini Tarte mascaras which are perfect for trying out and also for travel as well. I am really loving the Lights Cameras Lashes mascara at the moment and Lifted is perfect for the gym as it’s sweatproof and doesn’t run down your face when you’re working out.
