I wanted to put together a post on all of the compostable phone cases that are out there. This guide will help you shop for new cases without stressing if they are eco friendly and compostable. I love a new phone case, as it makes you fall in love with your phone even more and it really changes things. Plus you can personalise them to your personality and outfit choices.

I currently have one compostable phone case from Pela, and I’m hoping to add more to my collection as the years go on. I also love using Popsockets for holding my phone and using them as stands when watching videos and things on my phone. Although they aren’t compostable or there isn’t a version out there that is, you can still reuse them on other cases aslong as you preserve the sticky gel on the back. You can also switch the tops to match your mood or phone case.

Pela are my absolute favourite phones cases as they are so soft and nice to hold and I also love their phone grips as well. They are a lot softer on your fingers compared to Popsockets which are made of plastic, no matter how pretty they are I won’t buy any new ones. I am gutted that Pela have only a select few colours for my phone model, I really hope they bring out new ones soon. They have more colourful and patterned ones for iPhone models which is annoying.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BIODEGRADABLE AND COMPOSTABLE

Biodegradable – capable of being decomposed by bacteria or other living organisms and thereby avoiding pollution. Refers to a product breaking down into natural elements, carbon dioxide, and water vapor by organisms like bacteria and fungi.

Compostable – is the process of recycling organic waste so that it can eventually be reused.

Redhan are an awesome UK based phone case brand that caters for both Android and Apple phones and also AirPod cases. I have a couple from them for my phone and I can’t wait to get some more when new colours are released. They are reasonably priced as well.

They have a great range of biodegradeable phone cases for both Apple and Android phones and I love their neutral collection. I like that their range of phone cases are patterned, rather than just plain colours so whether you like bumble bees or a neutral sunset landscape – these cases are perfect for you. They have a huge range of cases for both iPhone and Samsung models.

It’s the first time I’ve seen such a popular phone case shop selling biodegradable phone cases. They have a small collection at the moment but I’m sure that will grow, they also have cut designs and a good range of phone model options too.

Unfortunately these phone cases are only available for iPhones at the moment but hopefully they will be released for more phone models soon. I do love the engraved quote ones like ‘Karma Is A Beach’ and ‘Ground Rules’.
