Fancy eating somewhere with a wacky environment and personality. Why not try eating at Dub Jam? This is my Dub Jam review. I visited the restaurant with my family and my brothers friends for my brothers 21st birthday. My dad was in search of a very quirky place to eat for his big 21 and we came across Dub Jam.
DUB JAM REVIEW // SOMEWHERE AWESOME TO EAT IN LONDON
It is based in Covent Garden and is themed around the Caribbean and Jamaica. It is indeed very quirky as we didn’t realise how small it would actually be inside but it was buzzing for such a small place to eat.
The walls are covered in graffiti and Bob Marley quotes/lyrics and it also has half a surfboard as a bar table and buoys as lights. It has very big speakers above the kitchen and plays very good music to set the vibe. They serve a wide range of chicken, lamb and other Caribbean cuisine. As it was a special occasion they asked us to print of this email which gets us free punch which is very alcoholic and strong but I stuck with my pineapple juice. I had a chicken and pepper skewer with home-made coleslaw and shared some mildly spicy wedges with my brother.
Dub Jam have recently moved from Covent Garden but haven’t announced their new location in London. Stay tuned by following them on Twitter.
