Now you are probably thinking what the hell does she mean. Shopping an independent christmas?! But what I actually mean by it is shopping with independent shops rather than shopping in the big high street and department stores and actually support the smaller businesses run by real people. Who are wanting to start their own career and business in the big retail world.

SHOPPING AN INDEPENDENT CHRISTMAS

I feel like it’s a nice touch to actually appreciate someone’s hard work and not things that are factory made in China and you can actually personalise the present to whoever you are giving it to which is also a very nice touch. Check out my other lifestyle posts here.

PERSONALISED GLITTER BAUBLE

I made a small haul with Not On The High Street which is a little bit like Etsy. It’s filled with lots of independent stores all in one place for easy shopping. And it’s filled to the brim with ideal presents for every special someone in your life. From your significant other to your baby niece. The 3 items I picked up was the Personalised Glitter Bauble.

Which was actually for myself to put on my glitter twig tree. I needed another decoration to add to it. I chose to have the silver bauble with my name ‘Shannon’ printed on the front of it. It’s very glittery and really pretty and comes with a silver piece of ribbon tied to the top. So you can easily hang it on your tree. It came really quickly in the post as well.

PERSONALISED POM POM TRIMMED CASHMERE SCARF 

I then purchased the Personalised Pom Pom Trimmed Cashmere Blanket Scarf. Which was also for myself as I loved the look of this scarf and I desperately needed a new one. I picked up this scarf in the cream colour. It’s gorgeous and perfect to go with every outfit but this scarf does come in red & green and also aubergine as well if you fancy another colour choice.

It’s super soft and the pom poms are amazingly soft. I’m not sure how I’m going to wash this scarf whether I do it on a quick wash or a simple hand wash, I don’t know.

FRESHWATER PEARL INITIAL BRACELET

Finally I purchased the Freshwater Pearl Initial Bracelet which was actually a christmas present for someone so I’m not going to say who. I chose this bracelet in Ivory which is the normal pearl colour or you could get it in a grey pearl colour which is also really pretty but I wanted it in the natural colour so it matches everything, I also chose to have a heart charm and also a personalised initial tag on it to add a personal touch to the present.

Each item came wrapped up well and protected and didn’t take forever to arrive which is amazing. You can customise each item to your specification with reason and also opt for a gift wrap option if it’s a present for someone else.
