• An Amazing Music Themed Hotel In Madrid | Hotel Barcélo Imagine

    A quirky hotel is well worth a stay, right? We booked our hotel in Madrid at the Hotel Barcélo Imagine which was really quirky. A music themed hotel with themed floors and rooms with a wide range of music playing throughout. What could be better?! The hotel was clean, trendy and all of the staff were all very helpful.

    I highly recommend staying here if you visit Madrid. Barcelo Imagine is a brand new hotel inspired by music with over 156 spacious rooms to choose from.

    It’s the best option in Madrid for your pleasure or work travel. They have a selection of meeting rooms to choose from named after famous musicians, including David Bowie and Michael Jackson.

    The hotel has an exterior swimming pool, gym, sauna, snack bar, sky terrace and lots of music based technology including a large floor piano in the reception for you to play your own music on and free Wifi throughout the hotel.

    It’s about a 20 minute walk to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and is a 10 minute train journey to Sol (the city centre of Madrid). It has a train station not far from it called Chamartin in which you can connect to the Metro and Train lines to get to places.

    This was really handy when we wanted to get around Madrid. It was much cheaper to use the Metro and Train lines than using taxis or Ubers so it was our prefered mode of transport to get around.

    AMENITIES

    The hotel has so many amenities and features to make your stay more relaxing. It features a bar, restaurant and breakfast cafe. It also has a gym and sauna and a rooftop bar which is amazing to have drinks at at night.

    It has so many awesome music features including the option to have a musical instrument or record player delivered to your room or connect your devices to play music through the Bluetooth speakers in your room.

    Me and my brother shared a room and connected his phone to the Bluetooth speakers in our room to play music. It was so easy to set up and had a great sound system in the room. Each floor was themed with a different genre of music, our floor was the Jazz floor.

    THE ROOMS

    The beds were super comfy and you had the choice of several pillows to sleep with. Depending on what type you like. The bathroom was the perfect size with a huge light up mirror and a waterfall shower with lots of toiletries to use. You also had a TV with a wide range of channels and you can connect your phone to the TV to stream from.

    With the choice to have a musical instrument or a record player delivered to your room. Room service is also available for your room or you can have breakfast in the restaurant from 7:30am – 10:30 (Mon – Friday) or 8:30am – 11:30am (Sat – Sunday).

    Our room was on the 2nd floor and our parents was on the 1st floor. Most of the 1st floor rooms are for disabled guests and each room has their own shower room and mini balcony depending on which side of the hotel your room is.

    I have to say the breakfast restaurant really spoke to my vibes. With the green velvet chairs, rattan accents and lots of house plants and palm leaves. I highly recommend you booking your stay here if you visit Madrid. It was such a stunning hotel with so many quirky features.
