• Affordable Hotels To Stay At In Thailand

One of the benefits to travelling to Thailand is finding lovely hotels for such a great price. As I was paying for my half of the hotel myself I wanted to know I was getting the best deal and also I was paying for my own room too. These are my top favourite affordable hotels in Thailand that you should definitely stay at. Both me and my Dad did the research into the hotels and searched every website possible to know we was getting the best deal.

We searched for our hotels using the website Agoda via TripAdvisor. It is our holy grail when searching for hotels and things to do whilst we travel. These are my favourite affordable hotels in Thailand that you need to stay at.

Ban SaiNai – Krabi 4* £99 pp pn

Ramada Plaza – Bangkok 4* £116 pp pn

    Navatara – Phuket 4* £84 pp pn

Eastin Grand Sathorn – Bangkok 5* £106 pp pn

(please bare in mind prices are subject to change and were accurate when I researched it. pp – per person. pn – per night.)

Of course the prices are more expensive for the Bangkok hotels as they are in the city but they are affordable from all the other competitors out there. Eastin Grand Sathorn hotel is perfect if you want that added luxury and is totally worth it.

In Krabi is one of my favourite hotels I’ve stayed in in Thailand mainly because it was so relaxing and the hotel staff couldn’t do enough for you, they was always so helpful and attentive and making sure you have everything you needed. The hotel was so clean and tidy and the staff work really hard at grooming the gardens, keeping the rooms tidy and stocked up with your mini bar, drinking water and bathroom products. The spacious bungalows are perfect for couples, families or general holiday makers.

The all you can eat breakfast bar was amazing with a beautiful view of their mini lake and resident fish and a huge soft shell turtle. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the main part of town in Krabi and a short shuttle bus journey so you are not too far away from everything you need whilst still being down a small quiet road with no disturbance or noise at night when you can hear the local animal nightlife. I think it’s one of the most popular hotels in Krabi as all the taxi drivers know the route to the hotel. It was the perfect hotel to completely zen out and relax without any stress.

    Ramada Plaza

Is in Bangkok and is perfect if you’re having a family holiday and need a bigger hotel to stay together in. It’s right on the riverside which is perfect as you have access to the riverboats and also the BTS train via a short trip of a river boat. It’s right near China Town and also an hours drive to the outskirts of the city with lots of temple ruins and local street markets. A more quiet area of the city so it’s perfect if you don’t like the hustle and bustle but still want to experience the city.

We noticed a lot of Chinese in this hotel, whether this was due to the days we were there as it was nearer Chinese New Year and they were extremely rude to everybody. Not at plush as Eastin Grand Sathorn but still pretty awesome. It has a huge choice of restaurants from a Chinese one, a posh one and a relatively normal one, also a huge buffet breakfast which you can either eat inside or outside on the terrace which overlooks the river.

In Bangkok is the perfect hotel if you are looking for luxury. As soon as you walk into the reception you are completely dazzled by the stunning chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and the huge vases of fresh flowers and plush rugs. This hotel is huge and goes up for miles with a rooftop swimming pool, bar and restaurant with an added spa, gym and sauna room.

It’s right on one of the BTS Sky Train stops which costs you pennies to use so it’s perfect if you want to be able to access main areas such as Siam Centre which has a huge shopping centre also to access the main river to use the river boats and also the airport. King size beds and a huge walk in shower in the bathroom are just gorg with a huge window that overlooks the skyline.

    Navatara

In Rawai, Phuket is perfect if you love quiet hotels and a relaxing location. It’s also perfect if you love keeping fit with their own mini gym and also a slightly bigger gym in a Muay Thai training gym across the road with the beaches near by for swimming and small side roads if you love running or jogging.
