A spur of the moment ticket purchase to see Faithless at Brixton Academy in concert. My Dad has been pestering me to come and see Faithless with him. And as they were playing in Brixton it seemed fitting that I gave in and went with him.

I have been listening to a few of their songs. But wasn’t in any hurry to see them but I’m glad I did. We drove down to Brixton and then had dinner in our favourite – Honest Burgers which is in Brixton Village which is filled with lots of mini businesses and restaurants.

We then headed towards the venue which we literally walked straight in. Dad wanted a beer so we queued to get drinks before heading to our seats. Our seats were pretty good and had a really good view with seats so we could sit down if we got tired of dancing. The first act came on and they were ok, had no idea who they were but they weren’t awful then the second act came on which was a DJ on his own who played quite a lot of good tracks and got everyone dancing.

Finally Faithless came on and absolutely knocked it out of the park. They were so good and knew how to work the crowd. Their light shows were amazing and their singing was awesome and everyone wants to sing and dance. There was even two guys in front of us who clearly had too much to drink who couldn’t stop dancing and singing and were just pure entertainment.
