A night in London seeing my favourite Nothing But Thieves at Kentish Town Forum in concert. And a day exploring in London. As last month was my birthday present to see Foals. This month was my Christmas present to see Nothing But Thieves. They had to move their date for London forward a day as they have been touring with Muse. At the same time as their own tour but that didn’t bother us. They had moved it from Shepherds Bush Empire to Kentish Town Forum. Which is good as I’ve been there before and know the venue very well.
WATCHING NOTHING BUT THIEVES AT KENTISH TOWN FORUM
The two supporting acts were okay, not my faves but okay. I couldn’t wait for Nothing But Thieves to come on! Both me and my Dad have fallen in love with their new album. And Conor’s voice is just so amazing, I could listen to him sing all day. They are by far the best band we have seen live so far. I don’t know what it was about them but they know how to work the crowd. Plus Conor’s amazing voice added to it. I love watching all of my favourite bands live. But there was something about Nothing But Thieves that made me swoon.

Before the concert me and my Dad had checked into our hotel, we stayed at The Premier Inn Archway which had recently been built from a derelict office building. It was a 5 minute walk from the Archway Station which was perfect for us to get into Camden Town and Kentish Town for food and the concert.
For dinner before the concert we explored Camden Markets a little before having dinner in my absolute fave Honest Burgers. NOM – if you haven’t been you really need to try their burgers and homemade lemonade! It was a lovely stay at the Premier Inn, we had breakfast there the next morning which was yummy and the hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were really helpful.
The day after the concert we took a trip up to Highgate Cemetery which is filled with lots of famous people from the Victorian times and also the 1st and 2nd World Wars which was really interesting. It probably sounds depressing looking at gravestones but there are so many different designs and intricate details in these gravestones – it’s perfect for photography lovers!
After the cemetery, we then caught the train up to Oxford Street and had a look in a few shops before stopping in HMV and I picked up quite a few new albums from some of my favourite bands including Panic! At The Disco, Sunset Sons and Don Broco and I also picked up a Nothing But Thieves CD and top at the concert as well! We then caught the train back to Archway to grab our luggage from the hotel and then headed back home.
