• Staying At The Lancaster Hotel, Bangkok

I can’t believe how long ago this holiday was. It’s been far too long so hopefully I can have another one very soon! I still have lots of posts and guides to write up from my time in Thailand and Laos so stay tuned. Our stay in the Lancaster Bangkok hotel was perfect for our final leg of the holiday, before flying home. I didn’t want to rush getting my travel guides out because the last few years have been so empty with travelling, I wanted to spread it throughout the year to keep my content going.

STAYING IN THE LANCASTER BANGKOK // OUR BEAUTIFUL HOTEL

We have stayed in our fair share of hotels in Bangkok, all spread out across the city and in different districts which was great to see different parts of the city. We have stayed in the Eastin Grand Sathorn hotel – on the Sathorn BTS line, Amara hotel – in the Central Business District, Ramada Plaza hotel – on the Chao Phraya River and now The Lancaster.

The Lancaster is a gorgeous 5* star hotel in the city centre with spacious and modern rooms. It has a french fusion restaurant in which breakfast and dinner is served in and various other amenities. The hotel staff are awesome and so helpful, and the welcome to the hotel was top notch. We got offered a very unique and refreshing drink upon arrival called Phai Lin. It is a signature drink to the Lancaster hotel which consists of carefully balancing butterfly pea flower, fresh lime juice and TWG Earl Gray. That’s how it gets it’s beautiful sapphire colour and the name ‘Blue Sapphire’ or ‘Phai Lin’.

    AMENITIES

There are so many awesome amenities you can use in the hotel, whether you are staying for leisure or for business. They have a spa in which you can receive lots of traditional Thai treatments to help you relax and zone out. A full sized gym with lots of equipment from weights to running machines and a refresh zone for cold water and healthy juices. There is also separate changing rooms with showers, lockers and changing zones.

The pool, bar and chill zone is on the highest floor available to the guests in which you can swim in the roof top pool, jacuzzi, have a nice cooling drink during the day or at happy hour and have a bite to eat if you are feeling hungry. I ordered the Club sandwich for lunch as I was so hungry.

    THE ROOM

We had the most amazing suite that was split into a double bed room, two single beds, a living area and an awesome massive bathroom with a shower and toilet and a separate toilet and shower near the living area. We also had a fridge and mini bar with a coffee machine and lots of storage space.

NAVIGATE YOUR WAY AROUND THE CITY…

You can use the map below on your phone whilst you are there to help you navigate your way around the city. Hit the star so you can use it in the future…

    LOCATION OF THE HOTEL

The location of the Lancaster is near the Petchburi MRT station which makes it so easy to get around the city. It is also not too far away from an awesome shopping mall and shopping district where you will find lots of restaurants, cafes and places to explore. You can also get to the river Chao Phraya really easily, the best way is by using the MRT.
