As a travel blogger and frequent traveller, I am always shopping around trying to get the best deals. I want to share with you my favourite travel resources that I use for booking flights to get me places to pillows I rest my head on. I spend a lot of time researching and planning. There are a lot of travel resources and websites out there, but these ones I go back to time and time again. They have my seal of approval, so you can book your next trip in confidence.

for helpful apps

Heathrow App

I love using my Heathrow App whenever I fly from Heathrow, I love that it gives me flight updates, maps to restaurants and shops and other travel news and information. You can also download ones for GatwickLuton and Stansted FREE from the app stores.

Currency Converter

This is my favourite app for finding out what something is in another currency compared to my own. It updates daily when connected to WiFi or a Network and you can have multiple currencies on at a time. It’s so handy to have on your phone!

British Airways App

I love using the British Airways app when I book my flights with BA as it keeps me up to date with my flights and also holds my boarding passes in the app so I don’t need to keep printing them out – which is so handy when you want to save the planet.

Citymapper

Citymapper is the perfect app to help you plan out your exploring of a certain city or place. You can put in your start and end location and it will work out the best route for you to take and any stops you can make along the way. It also shows you transport you can use to get to your end destination.

for booking

Skyscanner

Still my favourite flight booking site, and my go-to in most cases. The “search anywhere” option is still my favourite feature when I just want to see what flights are possible and see what surprises turn up.

Rome2Rio

Another of my favourite websites to search for flights and transport to a certain place. Even if it’s somewhere in the middle of nowhere, you are bound to find a way of getting there by using Rome 2 Rio.

Kayak

When I know where I’m going and need a certain luggage allowance, Kayak is the first place I check for flights. Once you search a route, you can add all the extras – like number of bags – on the side panel.

Trainline

Book your train tickets and journeys for your trips in the United Kingdom. Search, book and store your tickets in the Trainline app along with special discounts and offers at specific dates.

Travel Gears + Accessories

GOPRO

GoPro are my favourite travel and adventure cameras that are small and compact but have a lot of features in them.

ONENINE5

My favourite wash bags and refillable bottles that are chic as well PSA compliant. They have so many organising pouches and bags that are perfect for travelling and everyday life.

KNOMO LONDON

Knomo London do the most amazing backpacks and travel bags that fit so much in them and they also hook over your suitcase as well.

Accommodations

AIRBNB

My favourite place to find accommodation that’s a little bit different to a normal hotel. It can vary from someone’s apartment to a quirky cave based hotel.

TRIPADVISOR

TripAdvisor is fast becoming my favourite place to book accommodation and read reviews of hotels and places to stay.

AGODA

I love using Agoda to search for great deals on hotels or other accommodation. They usually show up on Tripadvisor and I can compare their prices against other companies in the same market.
