I’ve been to Bangkok twice before and as we were on our way home from our travels. We stopped in Bangkok for a few days. In case you didn’t already know Bangkok is one of my favourite cities. As it feels like a home away from home for me. The people are so lovely and the skyscrapers and lights just reminds me of London.
5 THINGS TO DO IN BANGKOK WHEN YOU’VE BEEN THERE BEFORE
POM MAHAKAN FORT
Pom Mahakan is a short walk away from the tourist ferry boat which ended on Khao San Road’s stop. It isn’t far from the actual road itself. It’s located on the river front and in a really pretty ground. It’s perfect for you to sit and chill either on the grass or on the benches available. This historic fort was built in the 1700s and has sadly been turned into a park not too long ago. It’s residents have been evicted since. It is one of two of the 14 original forts that were around Bangkok.
BANGKOK FLOWER MARKET
Bangkok Flower Market is another popular stop in the tourist ferry boats journey in which you can walk along streets of gorgeous flowers and also lots of fruits, vegetables and spices as well. It’s the perfect location for photographers. There are so many different flowers there.
CHAO PHRAYA TOURIST BOAT
If you haven’t already been on this hop on – hop off boat I highly recommend it. It’s a great way of getting around as you only need to purchase one ticket and you can get on and off as many times as you want and see some of the main tourist attractions in Bangkok including the Grand Palace, The Reclining Buddha and Khao San Road.
