    cruelty free beauty haul

It’s been a little while since my last beauty haul post but I needed to place a new order to stock up on new favourites and pick up some travel friendly products for my trip to Croatia. Albeit one of these products isn’t cruelty free but I still wanted to include it in this post.

The first item I had to pick up was the Clinique Anti Blemish Foundation in my usual shade Fresh Alablaster which is the perfect shade for my skin tone. Now I know this foundation and the brand aren’t cruelty free but I love wearing this foundation when I have lots of breakouts as it helps clear them up and the coverage is so good. This is the only item I purchase from Clinique.

    First Aid Beauty

I then picked up some more of my favourite pads which are the First Aid Beauty Blemish Patrol Pads which are a lifesaver to use when I have lots of breakouts as it helps control the oils on my face, helps clear and prevent future breakouts and helps clean out my pores as well. I haven’t picked these up for quite some time and have really noticed a different when I haven’t been using them so I just had to buy some more as they are so good.

Then I picked up the brand new bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Defense Tinted Moisturiser. I have heard so many people rave about this moisturiser and wanted to try it out. As I own and use the first one they released.

After I tested this out, I don’t think I would call it a tinted moisturiser as there really isn’t much tint to it as it comes out quite white and blends out when you rub it into your skin so it’s clear and can’t be seen on the skin. I would say it’s more of a moisturiser that will help defend your skin from light rays and other damaging causes to the skin.

However I probably wouldn’t wear this all the time but only when my skin is at it’s driest as my skin is quite oily and I found that this made my foundation come off quicker unless I wore a mattifying primer on over the top of this moisturiser.

    Liz Earle

I wanted to restock my favourites from Liz Earle as they are so good for my skin. And are perfect for travelling. Firstly I grabbed their Gentle Cleansing Exfoliator as that does great things for my skin and making it feel really smooth. I then grabbed their Try Me Kit For Combination & Oily Skin as this is perfect for travelling and all of the products work perfectly for my skin.

    skyn ICELAND

It’s been a little while since I had purchased my favourite eye cream. Which is their Icelandic Relief Eye Cream from skyn ICELAND so I wanted to in this haul. I’ve been using my EyeWake cream quite a bit and I love it. But also wanted to purchase my fave from skyn ICELAND as well as it’s so good.

    Urban Decay

The final product I picked up was my favourite setting spray. Which is the Urban Decay De Slick Travel Setting Spray. I love using this to set my makeup and it really helps keeping any oil at bay. This is great size wise for travelling so I will be taking this to Croatia with me.

    Anastasia Beverly Hills

It was late to the party but I re-purchased my eyebrow pencil. But instead of picking up the Brow Wiz I decided to try the Brow Definer from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I got the shade Medium Brown which matches me quite well. The pencil is a little bit bigger to the Brow Wiz but it actually does quite a good job anyway of filling in my brows.

There is one product which I had to return back to Feel Unique because I had ordered the wrong shade and they only had two shades available which were both completely wrong for me and that was the Urban Decay Brow Beater Pencil & Brush but once I’ve received the refund for that I will be ordering the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz pencil because that’s my favourite also and they have my shade in stock.

What products would you like to try? Have you tried any of these?
