    cruelty free beauty haul 14

It’s another cruelty free beauty haul from Feel Unique. Trying out some new products to my collection which I’m super excited about especially the hyped The Ordinary skincare range that everyone has been loving.

    Urban Decay & Charlotte Tilbury

I was on the hunt to try some new mascaras as my current ones are slowly drying out or I didn’t like how they made my eyelashes look so I decided to try to new mascaras to my collection so I picked up the Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara and the Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes Mascara. I really like the brush on the Charlotte Tilbury mascara as it’s really fat and wide and picks up every eyelash for a full look whereas the Urban Decay brush is a lot smaller but also has really good staying power and doesn’t run when my face gets wet.

    Liz Earle

Then I had to repurchase my absolute favourite facial toner which is from Liz Earle which is their Instant Tonic Skin Boost. I had used up my mini bottle whilst on holiday and I desperately needed to repurchase the big bottle as I could notice a horrible difference in my skin without using it. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend trying it. It’s perfect for refreshing the face and prepping it ready for makeup and the rest of your skincare.

    The Pro Hygiene Collection

I was in desperate need of picking up some more makeup brush cleaner so I just had to pick up two bottles of my favourite cleaner, the The Pro Hygiene Collection Brush and Sponge Wash. I really love how it cleans my makeup brushes and helps fight and reduce the bacteria that gets on my brushes to stop it transferring it onto my face and creating acne.

Then I wanted to try some new products from Hourglass so I picked up their Girl Lip Stylo in Warrior and their Femme Lip Stylo in Nude. I really like the packaging of these lip products and the shades are so me. One is a very dark plum colour and the other is a very pretty nude which I love wearing on a day to day basis whereas I wear the plum shades on special occasions or if I’m feeling a little more daring.

    The Ordinary

Then the main part of this haul was to pick up some skincare products from The Ordinary as I’ve seen so many people and especially bloggers rave about their products, I wanted to try them out. I have to admit I am still a little confused as to when I use each product because some products work best with others and some you shouldn’t use with another one it doesn’t mix well with.

I have been slowly reading up to each product and finding out when is best to use them and gradually introduce them into my skincare. If anyone has any tips on using The Ordinary skincare range, please help me out. I picked up their High-Spreadability Fluid Primer, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F , Matrixyl 10% + HA 30ml,  Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10%, EUK 134 0.1%, Alpha Lipoic Acid 50% and their 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil. They all have very long and confusing sciencey names but hopefully we will all get our heads around them.

Have you tried any of these products? Let me know which your favourites are.
