Vegan/Vegetarian Eats | Part 2

I really enjoyed writing about my favourite vegan foods in my previous post My Favourite Vegan/Vegetarian Eats so I wanted to write up another one filled with some of my favourite meals so far since turning vegetarian in January. I really like eating out and discovering new dishes and also my mum coming up with awesome and delicious meals for at home. 

The Crown Inn Butternut squash & Beetroot burger served on a Sour Dough Bun
Went on a company meeting with our Transact rep to a local pub and I chose their vegan burger which was really nice. The combination of butternut squash and beetroot in a burger was really interesting and their home-cooked chips were so fluffy and yummy.

Prezzo Goats Cheese Penne Al Forno Pasta
Went out of a meal with my parents one afternoon after work and tried their Al Forno pasta and this one really caught my eye on the menu. Filled with goats cheese, peppers and spinach with tomato sauce in a penne pasta bake.

Sipson Tandoori Restaurant Vegetable Biriyani
Went out for a meal with the family to celebrate Easter Monday and also received my birthday present early. Dad had read about this Indian restaurant in Sipson near Heathrow and we selected our dishes and shared them between the 4 of us to try everything.

Mums Homemade Quorn Chicken Pad Thai Curry
Mum made this really yummy chicken pad thai curry with my Quorn chicken fillets with peanuts for an added bit of crunch with carrots, sweet potato and potatoes. 

The Cock Inn, at Sarratt Mediterranean Vegetable Panini
After watching Dad in the Lee Valley Run Fest we stops off in Sarratt at a local pub and I had their Mediterranean vegetable panini and fries on the side which was really nice. 

Nam Kang Korean Veg Fried Noodles
We went out for dinner on Mothers Day and me and my brother had booked a meal in a Korean restaurant in Windsor and decided to have something different. I had these long thick spaghetti like noodles with lots of veggies and also avocado sushi as a starter which I loved. 

Mums Quorn Chicken Roast Dinner
For Easter mum cooked a full on roast dinner for the family and for mine I replaced the meat with my Quorn chicken. 

Prezzo Roasted Pepper Pizza
I love a good pizza as much as the next person and when I found this pizza on Presso’s menu I just had to give it a try, covered in roasted peppers and other vegetables and lots of stringy cheese and tomato sauce! 

Mums Quorn Mince Lettuce Boats and Rice
Mum is great at creating recipes at home and adapting them for me and my vegetarian meals. She created this Quorn mince adaptation for mince boats with lettuce and also cooked a rice on the side for me.
