• The ultimate lightweight foundation that everyone loves! Do I love it? My personal thoughts and trying out the popular Urban Decay Naked Weightless Foundation. Is this foundation suitable for oily skin or more suited for dry skin? Find out here.

This is Urban Decay’s popular liquid foundation, their Naked Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Foundation. I am in the shade 1.0 – I did buy 0.5 but it was too light so I went a shade up. The only annoying thing about this foundation is the shade names, as they don’t give any indication as to what the shade and undertone is like so you have to mess around with testers before buying the right shade. It retails for £27, which is quite expensive for a foundation and would consider this to be in between drugstore and higher end.

This foundation claims to transform your complexion, giving you a wear that feels like your wearing nothing but still giving you a natural, illuminated and bright demi-matte finish. With light diffusing spheres it provides a visible reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, blurring imperfections to make you look professionally retouched. This foundation comes in a clear plastic bottle with a metallic lid, also has a pump and you shake the foundation before you use. This foundation is a very liquidy consistency and is said to be good for all skin types.

This foundation is definitely very lightweight and very easy to build up for more coverage. Is has a demi-matte finish which is great for those with oily skin and also other skin types so it’s a very universal foundation for all skin types. I use my setting powder to mattify it and help make it last all day. It’s a very light coverage that is buildable and doesn’t look cakey or heavy.

From what I can remember this foundation lasts quite a long time after powdering, especially on my skin type. It will probably last much longer on dry to normal skin but does work on oily/combination skin. I will definitely try this foundation again when my skin is looking better and update you on how this foundation lasts.

This foundation is okay on my skin, I would need to keep checking it to make sure it doesn’t look too bad and will have to top up on powder and blotting. I would probably wear this foundation more on lazy days due to it’s weightless feel on the skin so I can cover any problem areas and still look remotely presentable. I would recommend this foundation to those with dry skin more so than those with oily skin.

Have you used this foundation before? What do you think?
