#BLOGMASDAY14 The brand new foundation from Urban Decay! Trying out the brand new and most raved about foundation from Urban Decay. I have heard so many amazing things about this foundation and just had to get my hands on it to give it a try.
I am absolutely in love with this packaging, it’s so pretty and completely different to their other foundation. The idea behind this foundation is that it lasts all night and for more than 24 hours wear, which in reality no one wears their foundation for that long. But it’s good to know it will last longer than only 4 hours or so. I picked up the Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation in the shade 1.0 after doing my trusty Foundation Matrix swatch test. I feel like this product matched my skin perfectly and with a bit of bronzer it would darken up my skin and look more natural but people at work kept asking me if I was feeling ok and that I looked a bit pale. So I guess it was actually too light for me. So I’m debating whether to pick it up in a slightly darker shade. This foundation retails for £27 which is a slightly more expensive foundation but Urban Decay are well worth the splurge and you get 30ml of product. It has a pump on the lid which is perfect and a most loved feature to everyone’s foundation.
HOW IT WEARS
It was very lightweight on the skin but definitely gave a good amount of coverage without feeling too heavy or cakey. I didn’t need much concealer to hide acne scaring or dark under eye circles. It was very easy to blend with a makeup brush and beauty blender and had a lovely matte finish to it without looking too flat.
It did last a good amount of time on my face, definitely throughout my 9-5:30 job without coming off in patches but I honestly haven’t tried it for 24 hours. Maybe I should try that next one time.
I really love this foundation and will definitely pick this up in a slightly darker shade so I don’t look so pale. I definitely recommend this to everyone who hasn’t tried an Urban Decay foundation.
