• Our Gorgeous Hotel In Paris | Hotel Les Jardins De La Villa

If you didn’t already know but hotels are quite expensive in Paris! You have to seriously spend a lot of time searching for hotels to find a great price. Our gorgeous hotel in Paris was the Les Jardins De La Villa and was definitely in the affordable bracket. This gorgeous little gem popped up and we just had to book it. It’s a 10-15 minute walk from the Arc De Triomphe and down a little quiet side street, it was close enough to the action but still quiet enough so you didn’t get disturbed. This was perfect as you did not hear any of the road traffic or noise from the streets. It’s a gorgeous boutique hotel with a spa, gym and meeting room featured as their main facilities.

Below is their gorgeous dining area which is usually set up for a buffet breakfast. You can also help yourself to tea, coffees and liquor drinks from the Honesty Bar mini bar. It is also the perfect place to relax, catch up on emails or read a book in one of their many bookcases. Also seen below is their reception area which has plush velvet sofas and armchairs for when you are booking in or checking out.

One of the guys are reception actually gave us a really handy app to use whilst in Paris called “Citymapper”. It’s the perfect app to use if you need to get around a city and need to know how long it’s going to take, especially if you’re short on time. You can read more about the app in my post below.

    LOCATION

The Hotel Les Jardins De La Villa is a 10 minute walk from the Arc De Triomphe and Champs Elysées. It is located in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. This is perfect if you love shopping and want to be in the centre of Paris with lots of activity going on. There was plenty of places near our hotel for something to eat or drink and to even have breakfast. Although not many places did a full English breakfast, it was mainly continental.

All of the main attractions have been marked on the Google Map below so that you can see the exact location and distance from our hotel. Open this blog post / map on your phone and use it to navigate when you’re there!

    THE ROOM

We had a gorgeous Junior Suite which was perfect for the 3 of us. The bathroom a lovely size with huge mirrors and a magnifying mirror. A waterfall shower and a huge bathtub with spa jets either side. Inside the room we could get Netflix, local and international channels as well as their smartphone which you could use outside the hotel for free. We didn’t use it as we could get our data in France, but if you struggle with your phone contract it’s perfect to use to get around and make phone calls. You can read about a similar phone which I have used below.

The air conditioning in the room was just right. It was perfect throughout the heatwave we had in Paris whilst we was there. We had plenty of wardrobe space and a lovely mini bar and fridge in the room along with a safe, hairdryer and plenty of towels and dressing gowns.

We had a bit of a funny hairdryer to start with which kept cutting out, once we let the receptionist know they quickly replaced it. The staff in the hotel always kept the hotel and the grounds clean and couldn’t do more to help. They always offered us helpful tips and answered any questions we had.

    AMENITIES

Sadly we didn’t get to use much of the amenities in the hotel which includes the spa, meeting room and gym. They are ideal for those who are in Paris on a business trip and those who will get more use out of them.

They had a lovely outside courtyard which you can see above. It was quiet and wasn’t overlooked with a water feature and comfy chairs to sit on whilst outside. It’s the perfect place to relax and do some yoga if you fancy. There was pretty flowers and foliage outside as well to add a little bit of nature and greenery to the courtyard.

Overall, I couldn’t recommend this hotel more and will definitely go back next time we go to Paris.
