• As voted by my followers on Twitter they wanted to see my next cruelty free favourites roundup be on Foundations so I’ve gathered together my favourite cruelty free foundations that are suitable for my skin type which is oily/combination mix. I found it rather heartbreaking cleaning out my foundation drawer of the ones I loved using but are unfortunately not cruelty free and to see so many brands fail at not being cruelty free really needs to change. I have still kept my holy grail foundation which is the Rimmel Stay Matte as I can’t live without this one when my skin is really bad but I’ve vowed not to buy any more from Rimmel’s brand until they change their animal testing policy.

    Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation
A new favourite of mine and one of the things that made me fall in love with Tarte over products by Benefit. I used to love how creative they were but now I’m loving what Tarte do especially using natural ingredients. This foundation has a matte effect with a lightweight feel but has a good amount of coverage so is perfect if you have oily skin and need the coverage but don’t like the heavy feel of a full coverage foundation. This foundation comes in loads of different shades so you are bound to find a shade that suits you.

    Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation
A new foundation that has recently been added to my collection and a new one I have started to love. I am going to buy this foundation in a new shade as this is slightly too light for me but I really like how this foundation looks on my skin and the coverage is really good. The packaging is gorgeous as well which is a plus.

    bareMinerals Complexion Rescue BB Cream
This is more of a light weight tinted moisturiser but I love wearing this on lazy days or when I’m on holiday lounging around the pool when I don’t care much about my skin and acne showing a little. It’s really easy to apply even without a brush and is really easy to blend.

Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot Foundation
One of my favourite drugstore cruelty free foundations which is perfect for those with oily skin and it has a buildable light to medium coverage so it’s perfect if you just want a light coverage or something more covering but still being lightweight and not overly cakey.

If you are in serious need of help to find an ideal foundation for your skin tone and skin type, be sure to check out Foundation Matrix which helps you search for foundations and their shades so you know if they’ll match you before you buy. Simply search using a foundation shade you already use and find other brands and their shades to match your budget, finish of foundation and coverage preferences.

What are your favourite foundations to wear? Would you try any of these out?
