• #BLOGMASDAY13 My current skincare routine that I use at the moment! My skin is forever changing it’s mind on what it wants to do it’s that problematic. One day it will be really sensitive and my rosacea will flare up and then another day it would be really oily with bad breakouts or it could be really dry and dull. Trying to find a skincare routine that caters for every skin issue I have is really hard and my skincare routine drawer is overflowing with products that I use in rotation to help combat my skin issues. This is my current skincare routine and one that I use during the colder months.

The Simple Kind to Skin Facial Wipes seem to be a holy grail staple in my skincare routine, of course face wipes aren’t great for your skin and I would only use them to remove makeup before cleansing deeper. They only remove the makeup that is on the skins surface and are only good for a quick clean of the face and don’t actually cleanse deep down. These are so easy on my sensitive skin and don’t irritate it and they also have the right amount of wetness if you know what I mean, I previously used some face wipes from Yes To that were so dry they did nothing and made my skin feel horrible. I will also use these in the morning before applying my makeup to make sure I remove any dirt or oils from the night before. To remove another layer of my makeup I love using the Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover which really helps remove waterproof mascara and eyeshadow.

With my deep cleansing routine I use quite a few products. I can either use my Liz Earle Hot Cleanse & Polish which is a new staple that has been introduced into my skincare routine that has been recommend to me from my mum who uses it religiously and she says how amazing her skin feels after using it and the girls at my local Liz Earle counter say it’s amazing for those with really bad acne. After using it, it definitely makes my skin feel really clean and I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin recently, hopefully it continues to improve as my acne can really flare up at random times whether it’s that time of the month or just when I’m randomly feeling hormonal. Or I can use my Magnitone Cleansing Brush with my Pore Perfection Brush Heads alongside my First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser with Red Clay which is perfect if you have acne and really oily skin.

I try to exfoliate my face every other day when my skin texture gets really bad especially on my chin and over my nose with my large pores. I love using the Ole Henriksen Walnut Complexion Scrub which not only exfoliates the skin but also helps clear and cleanse deep down in the pores which is great if you suffer from acne or large pores and oily skin. It has quite a strong smell of walnut but it’s nothing to bad once you get used to it.

I occasionally switch up my moisturiser from time to time depending on how my skin is feeling, if it’s quite dry or feeling dull I like using the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream or my Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Cream which is great if you also have oily/acne prone skin or if have quite oily skin I like using my T Zone Skin Clearing Moisturiser.

When my skin is in a really bad way and in need of a desperate detox I love using my Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Face Mask which contains natural ingredients which helps draw out the oils and dirt from the pores and helps cleanse deep down to make skin look clearer and brighter.

What products do you enjoy using in your skincare routine? Would you try any of these out?
