My impressions from this brand are, I’m very impressed with it. For such a budget friendly brand I did not expect the quality and product range to be soooo good. Now I know why everyone is raving about them, I definitely recommend this brand to those who are on a budget or love supporting budget/drugstore brands.
Testing out some products from Makeup Revolution and my first impressions of them. A rather large beauty haul and first impressions from Makeup Revolution. My first ever Makeup Revolution haul and first impressions. I have seen so many bloggers and youtubers raving about MR and I was really intrigued about their products so I made a huge haul order. I did quite a bit of research first and added my favourite and lots of awesome products into my basket. Most of these items were in Makeup Revolutions massive sale a few weeks ago!
The first things I grabbed where some of their Lip Power Lipstick & Gloss’s that are in the sale for £2 each which is amazing when you think about it. The colours I picked up are: It’s My Life, Can’t Escape Me, Yesterdays Favourite, Everything’s Alright and Anticipate It. The colours are extremely pigmented, smell amazing and go on my lips really easily and smoothly. You can either wear the lipstick or gloss on their own, or you can pair the two together.
I then added two of their Liphug Lipsticks in When You Came To Me and To Get Lucky which were only £1.50 which is amazing. They are super smooth and go on my lips really easily. They are extremely pigmented and smell really nice. They are in a slim black bullet with rose gold writing on it and they are super easy to apply.
I then added their Awesome Eyeshadow Palette in Disappear to the Beyond. This palette features 12 really pretty shimmering shades. It say’s they are summer shades but I think these are better for the colder months with the deep berry and rich gold shades. These shades are so highly pigmented and really easy to blend. The pale shades are perfect for highlighting the brow bone and using in the tear duct. This palette is really slim and compact so it’s perfect for travelling, also with a clear lid so you can see all of the shades at a glance.
The next item is their Ultra Base Corrector Palette which is £6 that features 8 different colours of cream concealers which are targeted at different skin problems. For example: Green = redness, Salmon Peach = discolouration and dark under eye circles, Lavender = neutralises yellow tones, Orange = neutralises blue tones, Pink = brightens, White = adds natural highlight and brightens, Cream = neutralises purple and covers dark areas and Brown = balances ashiness in medium/dark skin tones. These are very easy to blend into the skin and have amazing coverage. The palette also features a large mirror which is always handy as well as being very sleek and slim which is amazing for travelling etc.
The next thing I added to my basket which was the item I was the most excited about was their Ultra 32 Shade Eyeshadow Palette FLAWLESS. They have two other palettes in this collection Beyond Flawless and Flawless Mattes but I was super excited about this palette as all the shades are stunning and perfect for the autumn/winter months with golds, deep burgundy’s and greys. They are mainly all shimmer shades with a few matte shades for bases and to pair with the shimmer shades. This palette again has a huge mirror and is very sleek and slim. All the shades have amazing pigmentation and colour pay off – you need this palette and being at £8 you can’t say no.
Then I added their Ultra Blush And Contour Palette in Golden Sugar that is £6, it is not normally something I would go for as I don’t tend to wear blush due to my rosacea and blush tends to amplify my redness even more after me trying to cover it up but I thought I would give it a try as they came in really pretty colours and the contour shades look like they will work for me. The shades are so pretty, highly pigmented with amazing colour pay off. This palette also comes with a huge mirror and is very slim and sleek.
The last product I added to my basket before pressing checkout was their Protection Palette in Light which is £4, and features 3 concealer shades, an anti shine powder, a blush, bronzer and highlight in cream form which sounded interesting so I thought I would give it a try and see how it goes. The palette is again super sleek and slim and comes with a large mirror. The colours look pretty natural for me on my skin tone so I’m interested in seeing what this is like on my skin.
