• #BLOGMASDAY21 An updated version of my How I Store My Makeup now with my cruelty free makeup. You might remember back in November last year that I did my own How I Store My Makeup post showing how my makeup was stored in my vanity, well I’ve now updated it and since turning CF I have removed all non CF brands and re-arranged it quite a lot. On top of my unit I have my bigger acrylic storage unit with my favourite small eyeshadow palettes, liquid lipsticks and concealers. In the main lipstick bit I have my favourite Urban Decay, Milani, NARS, Rosie for Autograph, Laura Mercier and KIKO lipsticks. Behind that I have my favourite lip liners, lip pencils and liquid lipsticks. In the bigger container I have my favourite lip scrub, bronzer from Hourglass, pressed powder from bareMinerals, lip balm from Ted Baker and mini eyeshadow palette from Fleur de Force. Down the side I have my favourite beauty books by Lisa Potter-Dixon, Lauren Conrad, Dita Von Teese and an old skincare and beauty book I had when I was younger. In top I have two new additions to my skincare which I’m trying out from Korres which contain real rose ingredients which I will blog about soon, so keep your eyes peeled. You can check it out the rest of my makeup vanity below…

In the top drawer of my ALEX 9 vanity I keep all of my base products in that aren’t in my acrylic storage unit on top of my vanity. The front container has all of my primers and bb creams and foundations. Next to that down the side are my pressed powders and bronzer powders. In the small thin container behind this are my concealers, eyeshadow primer and cream contour/bronzer products. And the container right at the back has backup foundations and powders and spare primers and also some non CF base products that need using up first before using up my CF products then I won’t purchase them ever again. Down the side of that container are my large Makeup Revolution palettes including cream concealer and bronzer palettes and my smaller bronzers and powders.

In the drawer below I keep of all of my eye products that aren’t in my acrylic storage units, this includes my large eyeshadow palettes from bareMinerals, Urban Decay, Makeup Revolution and Lorac. I then have an old Benefit kit box with small eyeshadow primers in and my Z Palette with my favourite Makeup Geek eyeshadow pans and my Tarte Amazonian Clay eyeshadow palette in Showstopper. I then have my larger Z Palette with my loose bronzer and blush pans and the rest of my Makeup Geek eyeshadow pans. Underneath this I have my other eyeshadow palettes from KIKO, Makeup Revolution and H&M Beauty. Right at the back of the drawer I have 2 thin containers with my eyeliners in and then my mascaras in the container next to it. I’ve now added some new eyeshadow palettes to my collection which are the LORAC Mega Pro palette and the bh Cosmetics x Carli Byble palette which I really love.

    LIPS & SKINCARE part one

I’m really unsure what to do with this drawer at the moment it’s rather empty, filled with some overflow of skincare products that don’t fit in my full skincare drawer and the leftovers of my lip products that aren’t in my acrylic storage units and some of my favourite but non CF lipsticks which I am slowly using up atm. I’m still trying to think of what to do with this drawer. The overflow of skincare products in this drawer are some of my Yes To products and my T Zone skincare products which are great if you have oily and acne prone skin and are both cruelty free brands.

    SKINCARE part two

My skincare drawer is really full at the moment with some overflow going into another drawer. At the front is all of my CF skincare goodies including Ole Henriksen and First Aid Beauty and then my non CF products at the back which I’m still trying to use up. My favourite face wipes are the Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Wipes which are really good and freshen up my face. Down the side I have my Sudocreme, First Aid Beauty Blemish Patrol Pads, Argan Organics Rosacea cream which is really good for my redness and rosacea.

My nail drawer is chock a block with gorgeous nail shades from Nailed London by Rosie Fortescue, Barry M, Ted Baker, Ciate and a nail set from OPI (who aren’t cruelty free) which I got in Thailand that I’m using up. Lots of nail care products from Soap & Glory and Burt’s Bees. (Unfortunately Burt’s Bees are no longer cruelty free so I’m trying to use up this foot cream and find a good alternative.) I also have my nail tools from Tanya Burr and some glass nail files, tweezers and nail cleaner & cuticle pusher (I don’t know what you call it ahah)

The rest of my drawers have pretty much stayed the same since my last How I Store My Makeup post. I’ve changed it around a little more since I drafted this post so I will update the pictures when I take some new ones shortly.
