• My everyday makeup look now using all cruelty free products! If you haven’t already seen my first Get The Look post you can check it out, but I thought I would do an updated one since I’ve now turned cruelty free and this is using all completely cruelty free products and how I do my everyday makeup.

    SKINCARE
My first step in my skincare routine and prepping my skin for makeup is using a face wipe to clean off the dirt from the night and I’m still using and in love with my Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Face Wipes. I know face wipes are bad for your skin but this is the only time I use them in my skincare routine and always use my makeup removers and cleansers with my Magnitone Cleansing brush. I then use my First Aid Beauty Blemish Patrol Pads which I love using when my acne is really bad as I think it helps reduce them and also helps control oil and shine and helps tone the skin. I then spritz over my face my Urban Decay B6 Vitamin Complexion Prep Spray which helps also control oil, reduces the size of pores and calms redness whilst waking my skin up. I then apply my First Aid Beauty Daily Face Cream which is a perfect light moisturiser for the day without adding any more oil to my skin as it’s oil free but still keeping it hydrated and without any dry patches from my acne. Finally I apply my daily eye creams which are the First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy Eye Cream and the Yes To Pink Grapefruit Dark Circle Correcting Eye Cream.

    PRIME & BASE
I’m really sad that I can no longer use my ultimate favourite face primer which was Benefit’s POREfessional but I’m happy I’ve found some great alternatives that are not also cruelty free but seriously cheaper than Benefit’s primers. Instead I’ve been using the W7 Porefection Primer and can honestly say it does exactly the same thing whilst being pounds cheaper and cruelty free. For my foundation I really like using either the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation or Soap & Glory’s One Heck Of A Blot Foundation. These are two of my favourite matte finish cruelty free foundations that I can rely on. I apply my foundation using my favourite foundation brush from Real Techniques which is their Buffing Brush. I then apply my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly under my  eyes and over any blemishes and blend them in using my EcoTools Sponge Applicator Brush. After I apply my concealer I then finish my base with my favourite pressed powder from bareMinerals, their READY SPF15 Touch Up Veil Powder in Translucent. I then apply my favourite bronzer which is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Luminous Bronze to my cheekbones using my Real Techniques Bold Metals Rose Gold Contour Brush. This bronzer is the perfect shade for my skin tone and is the best replacement for my Benefit Hoola Bronzer. And this brush is super soft and makes it really easy to blend all bronzers.

    EYES & LIPS
Starting with my brows I brush through them with my Real Techniques Brow Groomer to make sure all the hairs are going the same way before filling them in using my Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint & Precision Shaping Pencil in Brownie Points. After that I apply my favourite eyeshadow primer which is the Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original. I then apply my favourite eyeshadow combo from the Too Faced Natural Eyes Eyeshadow Palette which is Nudie a gorgeous neutral brown shade and Push Up which is a stunning rose gold. I apply Nudie all over the lid and in the crease and then Push Up on the outer v and blend it in using my Real Techniques Shadow Brush. I then take the champagne colour from my Fleur De Force Eyeshadow Quad Palette in Cosmic Bronze and add that into my tear duct to brighten up the eyes. Finally I curl my lashes using my The Vintage Company Rose Gold Eyelash Curlers and apply my PUR Big Look Mascara in BlackAfter all that is completed I then apply my favourite lip balm which is the Burt’s Bees Nourishing Mango Lip Balm to help soften my lips and then apply my Laura Mercier Nouveau Rouge Lipstick in Cafe which is my favourite nude shade to wear daily. To finish everything off I then spritz my Urban Decay De Slick Setting Spray to help everything stay in place and keep the oil at bay.
