• A new foundation to add to my Foundation Review series, it’s been sat in my drafts for quite a while and whilst it’s not cruelty free I still wanted to publish it for those interested in this foundation. Estee Lauder has hit the beauty world with her Double Wear range for long lasting face makeup. I purchased this foundation and her Stay In Place BB Cream before turning cruelty free and have been testing them out quite a bit so I wanted to write a review of both products – the BB cream one is to come shortly.

I love the frosted glass bottle packaging that this foundation comes in and the gold lid, the only thing that annoys me about this foundation is that it doesn’t have a pump so it gets incredibly messy. Apart from that, the foundation itself is amazing – such good coverage, lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy and a huge range of shades for all skin tones. This foundation also has an SPF of 10 so it helps protect your skin on a daily basis. The foundation is the perfect amount of liquidity so it’s really easy to blend and build up for more coverage but I always find 1 1/2 coats enough for me and I have very problematic skin with redness and acne. It claims to last for 15 hours without changing colour, smudging or coming off on clothes. It claims to last through heat, humidity and non stop activity.

It feels super lightweight on the skin without feeling heavy and has such a natural look to it. It’s really easy to blend and doesn’t look cakey.

It lasts really well on my oily skin with a bit of setting powder and doesn’t look too shiny towards the end of a working day.

I love this foundation and would support Estee Lauder and their products a lot more if they were cruelty free. I’m having to use up their foundations that I have and then won’t purchase from them again until they change their non cruelty free status!

Have you used their foundations before? What did you think of them?
