• Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Facial Oil | Inspired By The Gorgeous Country Morocco

I was kindly sent the Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil* to try out and review. I have always wanted to visit Morocco, which is still on my bucket list by the way. Now I’ve partnered up with Dr Botanicals, I can add a hint of Morocco into my skincare routine.

    INGREDIENTS:

I am so happy to know that Dr Botanicals do not test their products on animals and they are 100% cruelty free. They also include natural ingredients in all of their products. The ingredients in the Rose Superfood Facial Oil are Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Almond Oil, Neroli Flower Oil, Water, Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters. Charcoal Powder, Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil, Aloe Leaf Juice Powder, Lactic Acid, Shea Butter Extract and many more.

Reading through the ingredients in this facial oil, quite a few of them are familiar to me and their purposes too. I use a sea buckthorn facial cream to help treat my rosacea. It’s perfect for when it has flared up the most. Charcoal and Lactic Acid are perfect for breakouts and spots. Aloe is great for calming the skin, especially after being sunburnt.

The main active ingredients in the formulation are:

    • Vitamin C helps to stimulate collagen production, for younger-looking skin.
    • Vitamin A is a powerful antioxidant with aims to rejuvenate skin, even skin tone and reduce the signs of ageing. While protecting from free radicals.
    • Almond Oil deeply moisturises and nourishes skin, whilst brightening the complexion for brighter fresh looking skin.

    HOW TO USE:

Apply 2 – 3 drops on your face after cleansing, morning and night.
I love using this after I’ve cleansed and toned, before I moisturise.
I would say that it dries very quickly, so apply straight to the face with the dropper before rubbing in to the skin.

    MY THOUGHTS

I am really enjoying using this facial oil in my skincare routine. It smells amazing and makes my skin feel super smooth and amazing. I can’t wait to see how it improves my skin but it’s starting to make a huge different and makes my skin feel great. I love using this after I cleanse my skin and before I moisturise.
