• One of my latest beauty hauls, featuring some new favourites of mine. Buying a few pieces from some of my favourite brands. Including three makeup kits from Benefit, a lip gloss set from bareMinerals, a product from Tanya Burr’s new beauty line and two new brushes from Real Techniques.

Since I’ve gotten into Benefit and their products I have always had a thing for their kits and sets. As I suffer from oily skin and large pores I finally put a purchase in for their Pore-Proof Kit which includes products specially tailored for oily skin and large pores. These kits are amazing for those just starting out and trying Benefit’s products. I picked up their Operation Pore Proof Kit which features 5 mini versions of some of Benefit’s best selling products. It features their POREfessional Primer, License To Blot Stick, POREfessional Agent Zero Shine Powder and mini brush, Dr Feel Good and Shy Beam Highlighter. The POREfessional Primer is perfect if you suffer from large pores, it’s a skin coloured primer that smooths imperfections and the texture of your skin, it’s oil free with a silky smooth finish. License To Blot Stick is a new release from Benefit, which is a stick balm that is used to blot and shine away. POREfessional Agent Zero Shine is a lightweight translucent powder used to reduce shine. Shy Beam Highlighter is a pale pink matte liquid highlighter suitable for those with oily skin and Dr Feel Good is an oldie from Benefit which is a clear velvety complexion balm used to smooth the appearance of fine lines and has Vitamin C in it.

I then picked up their Sugarlicious kit which features their Benetint Cheek & Lip Tint, High Beam Highlighter, Sugarbomb Blush and Sugarbomb Lip Gloss in mini form. Benetint which is a rose liquid tint which you can use on your lips and cheeks to add a flush of colour. High Beam which is a satin pink liquid highlighter that looks perfectly radiant on all skin tones and is super easy to blend in and apply. Sugarbomb Blush is a mixture of 4 shades from peach, soft plum, shimmering pink and rose that swirl together to create a sweet rush of gorgeous flush to the cheeks. Sugarbomb Lip Gloss is a shimmery pink nude lip gloss with a little hint of glitter to create a pretty natural lip look.

A new release for Benefit’s Christmas collection, bringing out a palette featuring 4 blushers, 1 bronzer, 1 highlighter and a mascara and eyeliner in mini form which is their Real Cheeky Party Palette. It includes 4 of their blushers in Dandelion, Rockateur, Sugarbomb and Coralista. Their best selling bronzer Hoola and their best selling highlighter Watts Up as well as their new Push Up Eyeliner in Black and They’re Real Mascara in Brown. This palette is great if you are just starting to use Benefit’s face cheek products and don’t know which blushers will suit you, this is helpful as you can try them all out and you can also pop the individual pans out and put them in magnetic palettes to take with you on the go.

Another makeup purchase from bareMinerals and it’s one of their Christmas sets of lip glosses it’s their Marvelous Moxie Lip Gloss Set. The first purchase from them was their Complexion Rescue but I thought I would try something else out from their range. This collection is 6 lip glosses with a shimmering effect, ranging from a clear golden topcoat to a deep plum – with a mixture of neutral and bright in between. With a sheer effect, you can wear these over a normal lipstick or wear them entirely on their own for a sheer coat of colour. These add incredible shine to your lips! Includes the shades: Golden Glaze, Maven, Hot Shot, Trail Blazer, Spark Plug and Overachiever. This set is worth £48 but you can grab it for just £22.50 on Feel Unique. They are about half the size of the single lip glosses which is perfect for travelling or having in your makeup bag for on the go and the lip gloss applicator is slanted so it fits perfectly around your lips to apply the gloss easily. They have a slight minty and tingly sensation when you first apply them as they make your lips look more plump and fuller.

A new purchase from Tanya’s new beauty collection which is her Handy Candy Manicure Set, its a mini manicure set encased in this pretty gold glitter clutch case featuring a mini pair of nail clippers, nail scissors, 2 nail files and a cuticle pusher and nail cleaner. This set is perfect for travelling as the nail tools are just the perfect size for on the go and you can keep them together in this slim carry case. This set is so cute as it’s pink and white with gold glittery case and accents. So pretty and girly!

I’ve now added two new brushes to my collection from Real Techniques which are the Expert Face Brush and the Setting Brush. I am slowly building up my collection more and more. I added the Expert Face Brush to use alongside my Buffing Brush which I use to apply my foundations and thought this would be a great addition and then I added the Setting Brush to help apply my pressed powder in the areas especially around my eyes, nose and mouth and then use my powder brush on the bigger areas of my face. There’s nothing I love more than brand new brushes that are super clean and really soft.
